MEET GREGORY SCOTT HENSON,
THE INVESTOR BEHIND HENSON VENTURE PARTNERS
Henson Venture Partners was founded by Gregory Scott Henson, a serial entrepreneur who has built, scaled, and exited companies for over two decades. He knows what the first year feels like because he has lived it. In 2002 he started Henson Group from a one-bedroom New York City apartment and grew it into one of Microsoft's largest global Azure partners, ranked #132 on the Inc. 5000 with a 2,809% growth rate and zero outside funding.
He writes the first $500K check because that is the check he wishes someone had written for him. Most funds wait for traction, a warm intro, or a lead investor to go first. Gregory Scott Henson goes first. He backs founders at the concept stage and works alongside them on the hard early problems: finding product-market fit, defining the market, and getting to first validation.
